Rush 2049 Review

Graphics - I am very impressed with the graphics on this game. Each building is smooth. It makes it look natural. The game keeps the frames ahead of you so that there is never any popup. The other RUSH games did that, but did they have courses that are this big. The textures on the cars are also nice. They shine in the sun like they would in real life. On the night tracks the head lights accually work. When you get up next to something it gets lighter appropiately. Great Job you guys!

Sound - I am equally amazed at the sound in the game. From the "Woosh" on the menus to the upbeat music on the courses. Each course has a differn't soundtrack. All of the songs keep you going and are just great. They don't stick out, just make you want to play more. One thing that gets repetitive though it the "3,2,1 RUSH!" They could have made an option to turn that off. Overall, I am pleased with the sound.

Gameplay - This game is FUN. You can race for hours and hours and never get bored. There is also stunt mode,battle mode, and obstacle course. In race mode you go around the track for a set number of laps and the first person to cross the finish line wins. In stunt mode, whoever does the most flips,twists,spins and other tricks will win; but only if they come down in one piece. In battle mode, each person gets an arsenal of weapons. They can blast each other away and set the number of kills up to 50. Up to four people can play so it makes the game long lasting. The final mode is Obstacle Course. You have to get through it in 5 minutes. There are a lot of things to get in your way. Like giant swinging balls and huge jumps. There is a lot of stuff here.

Replay Value - This game is jammed with things to keep you going. There are circuits which is a set of courses you have to race in a row. If you win, then you unlock more tracks and circuits. Another thing is all of the coins. If you collect a certain number of coins then you will unlock new cars. These cars help you earn more things. In stunt mode you can unlock more tracks. If you get 1,000,000 points, you get obstacle mode. If you race often and have a username, you can earn miles. After every 100 miles or so, you get a new part. These help your car go faster and turn tighter. I know I am forgetting more, but with all of these things, who needs more?

Final Statement - This game is a great game to get. It doesn't matter if you like racing or not. Get the game!
